Tricia Denniger brings over a decade of experience in child and family advocacy, combining the unique perspective of a Juris Doctor (JD) and a License in Social Work (LSW). Her training and expertise allow her to conduct independent investigations, provide trauma-informed recommendations, and support the legal strategies of legal professionals to better serve the children they represent.

Tricia’s passion lies in improving the lives of children impacted by the legal system—whether they are navigating abuse and neglect cases, delinquency, or dependency court. Her vision is to equip every child with the tools, resources, and support they need to feel seen, heard, and safe.

With deep experience working both directly with children and behind the scenes in systems-level care, Tricia has served underserved populations across legal, educational, mental health, and social work settings. She is committed to advancing the rights, well-being, and long-term success of Colorado’s children and families through compassionate, informed advocacy.

Nik Darrah is a behavioral health leader with more than a decade of experience expanding access to mental health and substance use treatment and strengthening nonprofit organizations across Colorado. His work is grounded in creating inclusive, affirming spaces where individuals and communities can thrive.

He currently serves as Director of Operations at Chroma Wellness Center, Colorado's LGBTQIA+ affirming behavioral health treatment program, where he leads operations, community outreach, and organizational strategy. 

Nik brings deep nonprofit board experience, having served as Marketing Board Chair for Educating Children of Color and as Vice Chair of the Colorado Provider Liaison Association (CO-PLA), collaborating with providers and community partners to strengthen access to behavioral healthcare statewide.

He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, with honors, from Southern New Hampshire University, graduating magna cum laude, along with certifications in CPI, QMAP, and Peer Recovery Coaching.

Gianina Horton is a passionate leader with over a decade of experience driving change in the criminal justice system, promoting racial equity, and transforming public systems to work better for communities. Her expertise lies in growing programs and building meaningful partnerships between government agencies, nonprofits, and local organizations to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in youth justice.

A lifelong advocate for reform, Gianina focuses on improving relationships between youth and law enforcement, increasing transparency and accountability in policing, and pushing for justice across diverse communities.

As Colorado’s Ethnic Disparities Coordinator, Gianina created Bridging the Gap: Kids & Cops, a successful youth engagement initiative launched in collaboration with Denver’s Office of the Independent Monitor. She also co-founded the Denver Justice Project, a nonprofit that uses data-driven approaches to prevent youth of color from entering the criminal legal system—work that earned her a prestigious mayoral award.

Gianina holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado College. As a fifth-generation Coloradan and the proud daughter of an immigrant, she brings both personal and professional commitment to her work, rooted in a deep connection to the communities she serves.

Matt Cloven has worked with people with disabilities of all ages for approximately 20 years. In this time he has helped families, individuals, and professionals navigate the many systems that impact people with disabilities. Some of these systems include education (special education and 504), justice (restoration of competency educator, ADA expert and consultant in child welfare cases), and public services (Medicaid, DVR, SSI). Matt has been a disability advocate and consultant professionally since 2014 and has provided educational and systems support, as well as disability-specific training for families, GALs, and child welfare and community-based provider agencies across Colorado.

Though much of his knowledge comes from this work, Matt also has certificates from attending the William & Mary Law Institute of Special Education Advocacy. He is also a certified assessor for Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) and is a Court Visitor for guardianship and conservatorship probate cases in Larimer County. He holds his Masters in Cultural History and Philosophy
